Legal Aid NSW helps people with their legal problems. We can help people with most areas criminal law, family law and every day civil law legal issues. We give legal advice, help at court and do family dispute resolution. We can do this over the telephone or at one of our 28 offices.
About the role
The Facilities Support Officer supports the wider facilities team in the delivery of facilities, fleet, finance, projects and mailroom operational and administrative services to the internal customers. This role offers a lot of variety, no single day will be the same, you will work with multiple stakeholders and a diverse range of business units to deliver the array of facilities services.
About you
Reporting to the Facilities team leader, working from the Haymarket Sydney office, Legal Aid is seeking to recruit a customer services and solutions-focused team member who will add value to the team and assist in coordinating the smooth running of Legal Aid’s facilities department on a day-to-day basis. You will be a high- level communicator, with the ability to build relationships with your stakeholders and provide solutions to meet and achieve optimal business outcomes.
The role requires you to use Microsoft office suite and hold a current NSW drivers’ licence.
We may use this recruitment to create a talent pool for similar ongoing or temporary vacancies we have over the next 18 months.

The essential requirements for this role
You must:
- be willing to do a Criminal Record Check
- hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies)
- holds a current NSW Drivers licence
