This is an exciting opportunity to work in a newly created role within our Cluster Chief Information Security Office. The role sits in Cyber Architecture, Consulting and Engagement function with broad exposure across the Cluster. The role will ensure that fit-for-purpose and risk-based recommendations are incorporated in assessments, design reviews and consultations based on the Security Reference Architecture and Framework.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for supporting the development of Security Architecture capability and to work with the relevant stakeholders to ensure the appropriate security controls are implemented.
  • Create and lead the implementation of testing frameworks across the DCS Cluster.
  • Review, document, provide recommendations and undertake risk assessment on security controls, solutions and outsourced services based on best practices and DCS security reference architecture.
  • Report on changes to or the development of security capability to ensure the capability is documented in the DCS Security Reference Architectures.
  • Provide expert input to the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of the information security architecture and roadmap as well as maximise value for return on investment.
  • Provide architecture leadership, and ensure alignment of the solution to Enterprise Security Architecture strategy and standards to support Cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS)

About you:

  • Collaborative professional and effective communicator comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders to drive the security capability within large scale environments.
  • 3+ years' experience and sound understanding of cyber security controls and the development of security capabilities within a Security Reference Architecture.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of security and industry standards or frameworks including SABSA, ISO-27000 series, NIST and ISMS.
  • Understanding of security principles for Cloud technologies including but not limited to Azure and AWS environments.
  • Understanding of security technologies including Application Whitelisting, Privileged Access Management and Cryptography.
