About the role

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Officer (Policy & Governance) to join our high performing, collaborative team to manage and coordinate the development and implementation of a range of policy and governance initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a new challenge or the next step in their career. 

In this role you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Interpret and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, frameworks and guidelines and contributes to the delivery of procurement policy and governance processes across the Department of Education.
  • Provide advice on policies and governance to stakeholders.
  • Provide advice and negotiate from a credible position building your profile to that of a trusted advisor.
