The Service Delivery Team within NSW Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages are looking to welcome an experienced and eager Stakeholder Support Officer to our team.

As the Stakeholder Support Officer, you will provide information and support on legislation, policies and procedures related to the Registry's services to external clients and stakeholders in order to meet client and stakeholder needs responsively, in compliance with legislative and policy requirements.

The position provides advice to external clients and stakeholders on policies, procedures, and legislation as they relate to BDM's eRegistry services.

The role also manages issues relating to those services. As the Stakeholder Support Officer, you will be required to meet client and stakeholder needs responsively, in compliance with legislative and policy requirements.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • Exceptional Customer Service skills and the ability to quickly identify business needs and requests and action accordingly
  • Understanding of the security implications and confidentiality issues associated with records collection.
  • Advanced skills and experience in MS Office applications, correspondence tracking, databases, electronic document management systems, spreadsheets and presentations.

NSW Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages was established in 1856 to maintain registers necessary for the purposes of recording Births, Deaths and Marriages in the state. We meet the varied and valid needs of our customers by providing a range of certificates, products and information services that help establish a range of legal entitlements and is the newest agency within the Department of Customer service.

Salary Grade 5/6, with the base salary for this role starting at 87,493 base plus superannuation
