?ABOUT THE HCCC??
The Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) is an independent statutory body (set up under the Health Care Complaints Act 1993) that plays a central part in maintaining the integrity of the NSW health system, with the overarching consideration of protecting the health and safety of individuals and the community.??
ABOUT THE ROLE??
As an Assessment Officer you will be responsible for the diligent and timely assessment, management, and preparation of assessment plans for all complaints received, and assisting stakeholders understand the assessment process.??

About you:??

A natural problem solver with experience in a complaints or case management environment including analysing and interpreting information regarding complaints??

Driven and motivated to manage a high volume workload with tight deadlines????

Confident and practices sound judgement, and the ability to display empathy while remaining objective and impartial??

A strong communicator and negotiator with advanced written and verbal communication skills, and ability to tailor communication to various stakeholders.??

The selection process will include a comparative assessment to assist in determining your suitability for the role. This will include a behavioural based interview and online testing.?
A talent pool may be created from this recruitment action for ongoing and temporary roles of the same work classification that may become available for filling over the next 18 months.?
