The NSW Department of Education provides, funds and regulates education services for NSW students from early childhood to secondary school, delivering world-class education through its public schools and providing funding support to non-government schools. About the role
The Director, Strategic Analysis leads high-level, quality-assured strategic analysis of education research, policy, practice and performance across early childhood, schooling and higher education, to inform and support the strategic direction and high-level decision-making of the Government and the Department. The Director manages strategic information and data analysis to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and accountability of education in NSW, from early childhood education and care to the tertiary sector.

Essential Requirements:
? Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as education, humanities and social sciences, statistics / data analysis or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and/or experience.
? Capacity to lead staff in implementing the Department?s Aboriginal Education and Training policies and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
