About the role: 
As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support with activities of daily living and developing, implementing and monitoring Individual Plan’s.

We are looking for passionate individuals to provide quality direct support in order to achieve client’s goals, with a focus on promoting skills and abilities.
 
We have multiple casual roles available, based in Orange. As we provide 24/7 care to our clients, the roster for positions may include afternoon, weekend and active overnight shifts.   
 
Key Responsibilities Include:  
  • Day to day care (including personal care) and supervision
  • Community Access & Transport
  • Maintain & Monitor Person Centred Plans
  • Documenting & Progress Note keeping
  • Implement development plans and identify support learning opportunities 
 
 Skills & Experience:
  • Certificate III in Community Services or similar
  • A current Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • A current unrestricted Driver Licence.
  • Ability to work across a 24/7 Roster (including weekends and active night shifts)
  • A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities and personal goals of people with disabilities.
  • A professional and positive outlook about direct care work.
  • Ability to fulfil the requirements of the Key Worker role if required.
  • The ability to develop a positive relationship with service users and to support their Individual Personal Plan.
 
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
