About the role

While working locally, the role is part of a national L&D team which is committed to creating innovative solutions to business problems by growing the capability of our people.

The role will work across Queensland and is based in our Shailer Park. We are looking for someone who has the agility to move between a range of projects, and is passionate about making a difference to our client’s lives through the professional development of our people. The role will be fast paced and include the full range of L&D activities and a partnership approach will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver interactive and engaging learning and development programs including eLearning
  • Develop and undertake assessment processes and tools that meet relevant LWB policy and/or regulatory requirements
  • Actively engage stakeholders to respond to local and state learning needs of QLD employees
  • Manage the end-to-end L&D administration functions including scheduling of programs and L&D events, program evaluation and feedback, and data analysis and reporting
  • Actively work with the L&D Lead to evaluate and implement relevant L&D policies, practices and systems
  • Lead and support state and national L&D projects as required

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in adult education, organisational development, human services or other relevant field OR significant demonstrated experience in a role where learning and development is the core activity
  • Experience in and knowledge of core practices within human services
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating/training diverse client groups including e-learning
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, consulting and interpersonal skills
  • Current Driver’s Licence

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
