About us

The Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) is the lead agency under the Stronger Communities Cluster. DCJ works to enable everyone's right to access justice and help for families through early intervention and inclusion, with benefits for the whole community. Stronger Communities is focussed on achieving safe, just, inclusive and resilient communities by providing services that are effective and responsive to community needs.

This role sits within the Digital Portfolio Team in the Courts, Tribunals and Service Delivery (CTSD) Division. The Digital Portfolio Team is a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the management, support, maintenance, and enhancement of core CTSD digital products to support the delivery of CTSD objectives. It has two streams: (1) Systems and Delivery responsible for infrastructure, service delivery, release development and implementation, and (2) Products and Engagement responsible for managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, including defining and executing product vision and strategy, validating product features and design, and collecting and prioritising inputs to inform product decisions and direction.

About the role

As Manager, Digital Portfolio Products and Engagement you will be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for a suite of courts and tribunal digital products. You will lead a small team that acts as the bridge between the business and delivery teams to ensure products and applications respond to changes in both government and business priorities and processes.

The role also manages project resources to deliver critical product enhancement projects and represents the Digital Portfolio Team across the department and with external agencies including ICT and digital transformation programs and projects. It is frequently required to resolve complex technological issues/problems in a wide and diverse range of contexts, requiring the application of sound technical expertise.
