This role will work for Science Division, which sits within the Office of Environment and Heritage. Science Division provides scientific evidence and knowledge to underpin environmental decision making, regulation and service delivery.
 
Primary purpose of the role:
The Scientist is responsible for contributing to scientific programs and projects by providing quality scientific data and technical advice.

Essential requirements:
  • Scientific qualifications, knowledge and demonstrated experience of analytical chemistry and/or environmental forensics science.
  • Experience in delivering rigorous science projects in analytical chemistry and/or environmental forensics.

Q2. Provide an example of a time when you had to use your decision-making and troubleshooting skills to solve a complex technical problem. Outline the problem, who the relevant collaborators were and how it affected them, and what the outcome of your solution was.
