ABOUT LEGAL AID NSW
 
Legal Aid NSW is the largest legal aid agency in Australia, comprising of a Central Sydney office and 23 regional offices in metropolitan and regional centres across NSW and a number of specialist services and advice clinics. ABOUT YOU
 
You will be a highly organised Senior Accounts Officer with a strong problem solving mindset.  You will enjoy working collaboratively in a strong team environment.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The position manages a portfolio of debts and advises on debt recovery including caveat processing.
 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
   
• Willingness to undertake a Criminal Record Check and/or working with Children Check
• Hold Australian or NZ citizenship or be an Australian Permanent Resident

  1. Describe a time when you identified a problem with a work process or task. How did you involve others in solving the problem? What was the outcome?
  2. Describe your ability to coordinate work, organise, track and manage correspondence, documents, records and files using computer-based systems and taking follow-up action. 
The selection process will include a range of comparative assessment techniques to assist in determining capability and suitability for the role.

This recruitment will be used to fill any current vacancies and will be used to create a Temporary & Ongoing Talent Pool for similar future vacancies that may arise over the next 12 months.
