About the Opportunity
 

Our Senior Customer Service Officer’s provide best practice front line service to the community from our local offices and specialise in administrative support functions on a day-to-day basis. The role provides support to Frontline staff with the client related functions such as payments, Carers Allowance, collating court documents, and supporting with secretariat functions for case meetings and conferences.   

 

This is an ongoing role in accordance with the Government Sector Employment Act 2013.

 

A Recruitment Pool will be created to fill similar roles for both ongoing and temporary opportunities across Southern NSW (Queanbeyan, Goulburn,Yass,Cooma, Batemans Bay, and Bega) if and as they arise.

 Q1. Please provide an example of your ability to work independently within a customer service environment that requires adherence to tight deadlines. Describe the situation, the actions you took and the outcome for the client and/or stakeholder.  
 Q2. The role includes the use of various Microsoft and Corporate applications with attention to detail and ability to be a ‘Key User’ in those applications.  Can you please outline your experience in computer applications and your ability to ensure integrity of client related data.
 
 Part of the assessment process may include additional online capability testing, skills testing or work samples in accordance with the new Government Sector Employment Act 2013; therefore you may be contacted to participate. You may also be asked to complete a Health Declaration Form in later stages of the assessment process.
