About the role
The Senior Project Officer manages and coordinates the development, implementation and evaluation of complex projects to achieve project outcomes and support the achievement of organisational objectives.
The role provides high level advice, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of new programs, strategies and reforms including those committed to by government.
This includes collaborating with partner agencies to ensure programs and initiatives are delivered.
The role represents CTSD on agency and whole of government programs regarding the provision of court services to vulnerable and socially disadvantaged clients.
Examples include the establishment of a new Drug Court at Dubbo, the evaluation and expansion of the Youth Koori Court and responses to recommendations form the Family is Culture Report.
Duties
You will have project management experience and the ability to manage and prioritise workload within strict timeframes while balancing client expectations
You will possess superior written communication and analysing skills. Building relationships and engaging internal and external stakeholders to provide and obtain information.
Knowledge of legislation relevant to the Justice portfolio, government functions and the legislative process.
Role requirements
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
It is an essential requirement of the role that successful applicants will be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and proof of vaccination will be requested prior to commencing employment.
