  • We’re looking for a natural collaborator and organised individual to join our Social Policy Branch.
  • This is an ongoing role, grade 5/6, based in Martin Place, Sydney.
  • Negotiable flexible working arrangements available.

About the role.

The Business Coordinator provides timely, effective, and high-level administrative, coordination and related support services for the Executive Director Social Policy within the Social Policy and National Reform Group at The Cabinet Office.

  • Efficiently support administrative and business operations while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Manage the Executive Director diary, resolving conflicting demands and meeting scheduling.
  • Prepare accurate and timely correspondence, reports, and presentations to meet client needs and maintain quality standards.
  • Manage small projects or related tasks, contribute to the development and implementation of streamlined administrative processes and systems to support business priorities.
  • Allocate and coordinate branch correspondence and brief workflows, ensuring timely completion.
  • Organise meetings, workshops, seminars, and conferences including catering, room setup, material distribution, speaker and attendee liaison, and clean-up, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support for stakeholder meetings and committees.

Salary: Clerk Grade 5/6. Package includes base salary ($93,295 - $102,941) plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
