Location – Parramatta with access to hybrid work arrangements. 

Ongoing full-time opportunity.

Salary ranging from $106,025 to $117,363pa. Plus, employer contribution to superannuation (11%) and annual leave loading (17.5%)

 

Your role

 

Opportunity for a committed policy professional to work on a range of operational policy initiatives aimed at improving operation of the Victims Support Scheme and other projects which support victims in the criminal justice system.

 

What you’ll do

 

As part of Victims Services, you will support the development and implementation of a range of policy and program initiatives in line with Government objectives and provide policy support to the Commissioner of Victims’ Rights, Senior Executives and the Minister.

 

You’ll prepare a range of documents such as complex briefings, and reports, engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, undertake research and analysis, and contribute to service delivery in a operational policy context.

 

You will also use your critical thinking and contract management skills to deliver projects and initiatives that support Victims Services.

 

What we’re looking for

 

Appropriate qualifications in a relevant discipline or relevant or equivalent experience.

 

You will have high level communication and analytical ability with strong policy acumen, be a strong team player and excellent collaborator, while able to prepare complex and sensitive briefings, reports and materials, sometimes working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
