About the team

The Strategic Communication team supports the PSC to impact meaningful behaviour change across the NSW public sector. We are a high performing and award-winning team using human-centred design to achieve business outcomes. The Senior Events Advisor also provides strategic advice and guidance for the delivery of other high-profile PSC events. As a senior member of the team the role takes a leadership role in activities beyond events and provides coaching and oversight to more junior members of the team.

We are looking for a communication professional who:

  •  has a solid understanding of the regulatory environment for government including accessibility, brand management and procurement requirements
  • has excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • thinks creatively and enjoys problem solving, with a high consideration for human centred design approaches to their work.

Demonstrated experience in project managing, creating, programming, coordinating and delivering a wide range of events (including in person, virtual and hybrid) is essential.
