About the role
The Centre Supervisor performs tasks to manage and develop the people and technology resources and administrative systems of a centre, whilst ensuring the provision of efficient, high quality and customer-focused sound recording and transcription services are delivered to internal and external customers.
The ideal candidate will understand the team’s objectives and align operational activities accordingly. You will understand and comply with information and communications security and acceptable use policies, define and clearly communicate role accountabilities and responsibilities to achieve business outcomes.
You are a forward thinker who is able to forecast for holidays, unplanned absences, and staff training whilst attending to any day-today rescheduling to cover resourcing availability and ensure the grade of service to clients is always met.
Duties
Lead, coach, and coordinate resources to monitor proceedings at multiple courts and tribunals. Identify staff training requirements, emerging issues, and develop solutions to ensure provision of services.
Respond appropriately to changing deadlines and unpredictable demands to ensure consistent levels of service within a Centre.
Role requirements
· A sound understanding or the ability to acquire the knowledge quickly about the Reporting Services Branch.
· Sound working knowledge or the ability to learn the DAT and TPM systems.
· Ability to acquire knowledge and understanding in order to implement Remote Monitoring technology within the Centre
· An understanding of the functions and procedures of NSW courts and tribunals
· It is an essential requirement of the role that successful applicants will be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and proof of vaccination will be requested prior to commencing employment.
