Legal Aid NSW is the largest legal aid agency in Australia, comprising of a Central Sydney office and 25 regional offices in metropolitan and regional centres across NSW and a number of specialist services and advice clinics. ABOUT THE ROLE 

 

Lead the development and management Legal Aid's people management strategies, initiatives, programs, services and a culture that supports optimal organisational performance and productivity.

 

As a member of the Executive team contribute to the development of the Legal Aid NSW broader strategies and service delivery planning to ensure the provision of high quality and innovative legal services and contribute to the development of the Legal Aid NSW broader strategies and service delivery planning to ensure the provision of high quality and innovative legal services.

 


ABOUT YOU


To be successful you will have:
  • Extensive experience in strategic thinking, risk management and planning skills applied to the management of human resources function
  • A degree qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated experience developing solutions to complex issues.

  • Significant experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders

  • Significant experience managing large and complex resources to achieve key organisational objectives



ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Willingness to undertake a Criminal Record Check and/or working with Children Check
  • Hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Resident
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and demonstrated leadership experience
