Courts, Tribunals and Service Delivery manages and supports the largest court and tribunal network in the country. Our courts are among the most efficient in Australia in timeliness, disposal of matters and cost. Many court sites use innovative technology such as videoconferencing for witnesses to give evidence from remote locations, without having to attend court. There are 164 courts and tribunals throughout NSW. Court Services comprises the Local Court, District Court and Sheriff’s Office. There are approximately 1500 staff in the business centre working in these locations throughout the State.
About the opportunity
The Judicial Arrangements Officer facilitates the day to day delivery of a range of professional client service, operational and administrative activities in accordance with established guidelines and service standards to Judicial Officers. The occupant works collaboratively across Court Services ensuring the effective administration of the District Court. The role involves the procurement of goods and services, including accounts receivable and payable, through the use of a financial management system (SAP), maintenance and update of digital records, liaising with the Judiciary, Associates, suppliers and identifying and recommending improvements to policies, procedures, and practices.
About You
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following capabilities:
· An individual who can deliver high level administrative support
· Ability to take ownership of and manage complex matters, and ensure the provision of information is concise and easy to understand
· Demonstrated ability to work in collaboration across the business with internal and external stakeholders
· The ability to raise and put forward suggestions for ongoing improvements and effectiveness of practices within the team
