ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Manager infrastructure you will provide direction and technical leadership to the Infrastructure team for the day-to-day operations of the ICT infrastructure. This is a combination of a hands-on technical and supervisory role. As such, the Manager Infrastructure is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.


ABOUT YOU


The successful applicant will have:

• Strong people leadership, technical, internal and external collaboration skills;

• Ability to think quickly on your feet, problem solve, provide options and make decisions under pressure;

• Effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of ICT infrastructure; enabling service availability to meet business need;

• Disciplined in Incident, Problem, Change and Capacity Management &

• Strong written and verbal communications skills – ability to clarify a problem, provide options and recommendations in both technical and business language.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Significant experience in hands-on management of an ICT infrastructure team and a hybrid cloud environment

• Willingness to participate in out-of-hours on call arrangements 

• Willingness to undertake a Criminal Record Check

• Hold Australian or NZ citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency 

• Relevant tertiary and/or professional qualifications in ICT or a related discipline

1. Describe an ICT Infrastructure initiative you have led to implement a significant change, involving cloud services, internal teams and external vendors; detailing the approach you took, challenges faced and outcomes achieved. 

2. How would you describe your leadership style and how does it contribute to you achieving effective team outcomes?


The selection process will include a range of comparative assessment techniques to assist in determining capability and suitability for the role.


This recruitment will be used to fill any current vacancies and may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future vacancies that may arise over the next 18 months.
