- $95,118 - $106,743 p.a. plus Superannuation
- Option to work under a 19-day month arrangement

Join the City of Sydney's busy City Communications unit in a hands-on role managing a mix of internal and external communications.
The right candidate will be a solutions-driven, creative and audience-focused marketer with the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders. You'll have experience delivering impactful marketing and communications programs and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
You'll be an effective collaborator with genuine enthusiasm for the subject matter. Your work will cover a broad range of topics, from core council services to our strategic vision. Audiences and content may range from external to internal messages.
In this role you will:
- Work collaboratively to develop, execute and measure effective marketing communications programs on paid, earned, shared and owned channels
- Use content management systems to moderate and publish content on the City of Sydney's web platforms
- Use email marketing software to build and send email campaigns
- Use digital marketing channels to present programs and initiatives to potential and existing audiences
- Coordinate delivery of marketing campaigns, including:
- Managing advertising schedules
- Preparing briefs for artwork, photography and content production
- Managing design collateral with internal creative services team
- Managing the production and display of posters and digital noticeboards
- Producing content such as articles, copywriting, and using online design tools to create communications material such as social media assets and posters
- Be a member of project and product teams as required
- Use digital asset management software to better organise and access City of Sydney images, videos and other branded content.
