About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated team player who loves building and maintaining stakeholder relationships to join our People, Culture and Talent Branch.

In this people-oriented role, you will have the opportunity to help shape the success of our people processes by supporting and guiding staff and executives throughout the people journey.

About the Team 

The People, Culture & Talent Branch work on a variety of processes and projects where we aim to be leaders in HR within the NSW Public Service. We provide high quality, accurate information, advice, and assistance to help develop a world-class public sector that is engaged, effective and diverse?. 

You will be joining a diverse and collaborative team, where we provide learning and development opportunities, and our mix of strengths and experience will allow you to grow into the HR professional you aspire to be!

About you

  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You can work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • You have excellent attention to detail and good independent judgement.
  • You are resilient, adaptable and enjoy change.
  • You have initiative and the ability to work flexibly across projects and teams.
  • You are a true team player and enjoy working in a large diverse team.
  • You have knowledge of Public Sector employment legislation (or have the ability to interpret other employment awards/legislation).

Salary: Clerk Grade 7/8. Package includes base salary ($106,025 - $117,363) plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
