A permanent position for the role of Essential Services Coordinator is available within the Health and Building Administration team.
Our Essential Services program assists building owners in meeting their statutory obligations to submit fire safety statements. The Essential Services Coordinator role requires a person who understands the responsibilities that are necessary for the management of fire safety and essential services data within a regulatory and compliance environment and will coordinate a team of Administration Officers to ensure the efficient processing of documentation and maintain our register.
We are seeking a highly motivated person with transferrable experience and skills, interested in working in a high volume, challenging environment and leading a small team to deliver quality outcomes.
To be successful in this role you will have:
· tertiary qualifications at a TAFE level, as a minimum, in a discipline such as, but not limited to, Business Management, Project Management, Data Management or demonstrated equivalent competencies gained through experience
· experience in managing a business support function, ideally in an operational environment, with a proven track record in records management and reporting, meeting coordination and development and implementation of business process improvements
· demonstrated experience in guiding and developing people in a team environment
· demonstrated track record of providing high quality, responsive customer service in a timely and accurate way with good attention to detail.
